Algebra International Summer School 2022 wrap up!

Algebra Summer School 2022 programme was an amazing and unforgettable four-week adventure.

Students from different parts of the world gathered at our Zagreb campus to take one of our 7 summer courses: Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data-Driven Storytelling, Digital Marketing, Experimental Drawing, Mobile Application Development and Introduction to Management and Entrepreneurship for IT Professionals. Apart from a new set of digital skills for their CV, the international environment was a unique benefit for students to develop soft skills of teamwork on the global market.

After the first two week in Zagreb, we packed the students and staff to spend a week in Zadar – one of the most beautiful cities on the Dalmatian coast. It doesn’t get better than attending courses with the backdrop of the most beautiful sunset in the world and spending free time at sunny beaches! Many thanks also goes to the Department of Tourism and Communication Studies at the University of Zadar for hosting us at their new campus.

The final week we were back to where it all began – Zagreb! Summertime is the perfect season to explore the capital of Croatia, with rich history and cool summer festivals, so the students were happy to get another chance to explore it.

Summer at Algebra was made special thanks to our partner companies Degordian, Bornfight & Q Agency, who opened their offices to us and gave amazing presentations on their business success story. Our students enjoyed these visionary tech companies, as well the time travelling visit to the Nikola Tesla Memorial Center in Smiljan. There, students got to see and explore Tesla’s many experiments and learn more about his life.

It has been an amazing journey of knowledge, technology, travel and friendship. We are proud of all our Summer Schoolers who passed their courses and received final certificates.
