The discussion brought together thought leaders from different countries, offering diverse perspectives on how digital tools are reshaping education.
The session covered fundamental topics, such as:
What do we teach? – The importance of computational thinking and informatics in modern curricula. Are we equipping students with the skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow? What essential knowledge should be included in teacher training programs?
How do we teach? – Effective teaching strategies, including project-based learning, flipped classrooms, gamification, and interdisciplinary approaches. The panellists shared real-life examples of how digital-first methodologies enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
Are we satisfied? – A critical reflection on current educational approaches. What gaps still exist in digital literacy among teachers and students? How can we better support educators in adopting digital tools effectively?
