Leadership is the ability to translate vision into reality. – Warren Bennis
e-leaders encourage successful digital transformation and innovation, using advanced information and communication technologies. Their e-leadership skills are essential because they stimulate economic growth and create new jobs, thanks to the full use of new, innovative technologies.
E-leadership skills refer to competencies that enable individuals to initiate and direct digital innovations at all levels of business – from startups to the largest corporations; both in private companies and in public companies. e-leaders possess business and digital skills, but also the ability to lead strategically.
e-Leadership education
One of the main challenges facing EU member states today is the large gap between academia and industry in terms of e-leadership skills. Through the eSkills for Jobs initiative, the EU proposed an education model that would enable students to acquire general, broad e-skills, but also more thorough knowledge in a specific field. The result is summarized in a T display of e-leadship skills where the horizontal line (the “top” of the letter T) represents general skills, while the vertical line of the letter T represents more detailed knowledge.

Why e-Leadership MBA?
In a world dominated by technology, there is a noticeable lack of functional and practical leadership of people and a lack of understanding of the impact of digital transformation on the business models of organizations.
We are proud that the University of Algebra is one of the first educational institutions in Europe that developed and successfully accredited its e-Leadership MBA program.
The two-year higher education program, worth 120 ECTS points, was created based on the experiences of the best traditional MBA programs, but additionally enriched and supplemented with the following features:
- full implementation of the principles proposed by the e-Leadership initiative and promotion of a set of competencies necessary for e-leadership, full implementation of the content criteria prescribed by the MBA Association for the accreditation of MBA programs,
- The e-Leadership MBA program of Algebra College consists of 18 teaching modules, a team task for launching a business startup and an independent master’s thesis.
In short, the program contains all the basic modules that make up the highest quality traditional MBA programs, but also numerous modules related to new technologies, social media, business intelligence, design thinking and leadership, all in accordance with key recommendations in the field of e-leadership.
