About:

Ratko Mutavdžić is Regional Technology Officer for Central Eastern Europe in Microsoft Corporation.

He holds a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Faculty of Computing and Engineering, University of Zagreb, and a MBM from Kelley School of Business, Indiana University (USA). Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate on Global Security and Economics at Faculty of Economics and Business at University of Zagreb.

Combining his technology and business competences even prior joining Microsoft, he made a corporate career through several management positions, mostly driving solution development projects for Public Sector, exercising business consultancy practice and leading many different sales and technology application teams. Currently he is working on a number of advanced technology and platform topics, like Cloud Computing, Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, enabling the use of Cloud Platforms and related technologies, researching methodologies and frameworks for delivering more efficient and viable Government and Enterprise environments.

Ratko is also a referenced author of a number of professional papers related to different technology topics, successful blogger on new technologies, change and digital transformation, and active contributor to a number of social networks exploring the use and advancements in connecting and sharing innovation.
