About the lecturer:

Jenni Dinger is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

She received her PhD from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado-Boulder and has spent the last 12 years educating and working with startups and global corporations. Her doctoral dissertation explored the individual decision-making for a firm within a high-stress environment, particularly post-natural disaster and online fundraising settings.

She has published numerous articles and case studies in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship areas with focus on nascent-stage funding, reinvestment decisions, employee turnover, etc. Prior to academia, she spent several years working on business-level and corporate strategy at Walmart Stores, Inc. in Bentonville, Arkansas.

She has been recognized for excellent teaching by both her colleagues and students. She was also named among the finalists for “50 on Fire” in the Boston business community by BostInno (2017).
