Bruce Watley is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Entrepreneurship & Marketing at the University of Sioux Falls. He is also Director of the Lillibridge Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership & Innovation.
Bruce holds a BA in Business Administration in Marketing from Creighton University, MBA from the University of Phoenix, a certificate in Family Financial Planning from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Development from the Regent University Virginia. He is pursing a post-graduate diploma in strategy and innovation through the Saïd Business School/University of Oxford (UK).
Dr. Watley is an award-winning researcher in the field of innovation and problem-solving, author of the seminal work on individual innovative behavior – An Intervention Study on the Effects of Innovation Training on Individual Innovative Behavior. He is the recipient of the 2014 Walter de Stapledon Philosophea Award given by the Beta Phi Society, one of three recipients worldwide of the 2013 Beta Phi Fellowship Award, and a recipient of the 2012 Who’s Who Among American College Students for Academic Excellence. Speaking engagements and clients include International Assembly of Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), Autonomous Learning World Caucus (U.K.), Commercial Resources, Inc., and many others. He has delivered over a dozen conference presentations and is a member of the Academy of Management.
Bruce brings more than 20 years of business experience. He was the co-founder of Grow Centerville, a community development corporation, the president of Bug-out Outdoorwear, vice-president of Knight Rifles, multiple successful small business in the outdoor industry.
