The course aims
Introduce students to the role of information systems as key sources of competitive advantages in the operation of modern businesses. Students will acquire knowledge of IS/IT as the driving force of radical transformation of enterprises with a strong positive impact on the raise of competitiveness. They will adopt basic concepts of existing and emerging IT technologies. They will understand the impact of IS/IT roles on the operational performance of the company and acquire basic knowledge about challenges and solutions for problems associated with successful implementation of IS/IT in enterprises. They will know that successful integration of IS/IT in company’s business system is one of the crucially important skills of e-leadership and business management.
