The course aims

Introduce students to problems of project management as one of the basic tools for the adaptation to the requirements of turbulent markets. Students will acquire knowledge about the importance, role and tasks of overall project management and entrepreneurial business system support. They will adopt basic ideas, knowledge, methodology and practice of project management (like certified PMI and IPMA) with the ultimate goal of obtaining key competitive advantages for Croatian companies in the global marketplace. Acquire basic knowledge for the use of project management tools/applications, like MS Project and Oracle Primavera.

Minimum learning outcomes

  • Utvrditi znanja koja čine PMI-jevu definiciju discipline projektnog menadžmenta.
  • Izabrati i usporediti različite alate i tehnike koji se koriste u upravljanju područjima znanja.
  • Valorizirati koncepciju učinkovitog upravljanja projektima te stalno mijenjajuće okoline projekta.
  • Vrednovati ulogu strategije u upravljanju projektima, ulogu projektnog menadžera te karakteristike učinkovitog projektnog tima.
  • Argumentirano raščlaniti faze životnog ciklusa projekta.

  • Ocijeniti i kritički interpretirati vještine upravljanja projektima kao instrumenta strateškog određenja moderne organizacije.
  • Kritički interpretirati i ocijeniti alate i tehnike projektnog menadžmenta u donošenju odluka.
  • Preispitati interesno-utjecajne skupine na projektu te definirati odgovarajuće projektne organizacijske strukture.
  • Izabrati i valorizirati kvantitativne metode upravljanja projektom.
  • Vrednovati i preporučiti računalne alate za podršku upravljanja projektima.
