Developer and DevOps Engineer Conference, April 15th – 19th, 2024
Algebra University proudly announces this year’s DORS/CLUC conference, taking place from April 15th to 19th at Algebra Spark Space.
DORS/CLUC, short for Days of Open Computer Systems / Croatian Linux Users‘ Conference, has been gathering top IT companies and individuals from the region and beyond for 30 years.
Business Networking at Open 4 Business
The conference will kick off on May 15th with business-focused topics under the banner of Open 4 Business. This segment presents a business networking event integral to the DORS/CLUC conference. It’s designed for those interested in establishing new business contacts, finding new projects, and exchanging ideas with other professionals.
Technological Topics, State of the Map Croatia, and Hackathon
The conference will continue on May 16th and 17th with technological topics. For the first time, it will include “State of the Map Croatia” – the first official OpenStreetMap event in Croatia.
The finale will be marked by a Hackathon on May 18th and 19th, co-organized with Unikraft.
Focus on Free and Open Technologies
The conference is organized by two associations ( (HrOpen and HULK)), with the support and partnership of Algebra University. It is dedicated to developer and system administrator topics, with a focus on free and open technologies, open source code, open standards, and open operating systems.

- Levgen Pyrogov, devops engineer with over 15 years of experience
- Ivan Voras, computer science doctor, lead programmer of the FreeBSD operating system, entrepreneur, and experienced CTO
- Davor Virag, doctor of medicine and scientist who utilizes open technologies in his research
Algebra’s speakers, Zlatan Morić with the topic “The Future of OpenData: Emerging Trends and Cybersecurity Implications” and Vedran Dakić with the topic “DevOps for Infrastructure Issues – How to Simplify Life in Enterprise Systems” will also make significant contributions to the conference.
