Algebra University participated in the International Peer Learning Activity on Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) held in Vienna in May 2024.
The event, organized by OeAD and co-funded by the Austrian Ministry of Education, Science and Research, was a dynamic platform for sharing insights and experiences among representatives from national agencies and higher education institutions from Austria, Croatia, and the Netherlands. The well-structured agenda facilitated meaningful discussions and peer learning sessions, addressing both the challenges and administrative best practices in implementing BIPs. Zrinka Borić, Erasmus+ and exchange coordinator, presented Algebra’s experience as an example of good practice on the topic of grading systems, issuing transcripts of records, and certificates of participation in BIPs.
One of the highlights was the presentation of the new Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programmes “Basic Toolkit”, which promises to be an invaluable resource for institutions embarking on their BIP journey. Additionally, the survey results on the students’ experiences and perspectives on BIPs in the academic year 2022/23 provided valuable information and perspective, further enriching the discussions.
The event presented a great opportunity to share experiences with institution representatives from the three countries and further strengthen collaboration and the continuous improvement of educational practices within the Erasmus+ framework.
