In April 2025, Toni Milun, a mathematics lecturer at the University of Algebra, participated in the Erasmus+ programme for staff for the purpose of teaching.
He visited the partner institution Universidad de Atlantico Medio in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, Spain.
The aim of the mobility was to improve teaching competences and student knowledge in financial mathematics. The topic of the lecture given by Professor Milun was the application of mathematics in finance with an emphasis on loan repayment and related financial concepts to first-year students of the Business Administration department. He also held a workshop on Communication Skills and Social Networks for second-year students of the Communication Department, where he shared his experiences of public speaking.
Although it is a relatively young university, Universidad de Atlantico Medio offers as many as 19 undergraduate studies, 9 graduate studies and one doctoral study in the field of psychology. During his stay, Professor Milun became familiar with research on dreams that is being conducted in the doctoral study of psychology.
