Explore Croatia through exciting field trips
The International Summer School takes place both in the continental capital, Zagreb, and the beautiful coastal Šibenik.
Zagreb is one of the oldest European cities, and the center of higher education in Croatia, with more than 40 higher education institutions and almost 150,000 students. While in Zagreb, students can enjoy the rich cultural scene and explore various museums and art galleries as well as numerous music venues and theatres.
Before relaxing in the streets of Zagreb, students will attend their classes at our modern university campus. Located just a couple of minutes from the main square, students can learn in the best possible conditions and use state-of-the-art equipment. The Algebra Bernays University campus is equipped with advanced labs and creative studios to support all Design and 3D design students and also boasts its very own supercomputer, the Boston Super Server, as well as the Nimbus data center, which supports 4,000 virtual machines.
During the International Summer School program, students will get the chance to enjoy the picturesque city of Šibenik. From the historic town center, with the famous UNESCO protected Cathedral of St. James and beautiful white stone buildings and monuments, to beautiful clean beaches, everyone will find someplace to enjoy and unwind. Since Šibenik is located in the Bay of Šibenik, you can take day trips to beautiful neighboring islands that will take your breath away with their preserved natural beauty. Classes will take place at the local Industrial and Craft School, famous for its recently built Regional Competency Center “Ars mechanica”, a European project for the engineering sector. The Industrial and Craft School is located close to the old city center and sport lovers can even enjoy friendly basketball games at the nearby Dražen Petrović basketball court.
