Overview of the module content:
In international and multidisciplinary teams, students will develop a go-to-market strategy for a Metaverse-service. Designed to mitigate the risk inherent in the introduction of a new product/service, a typical GTM strategy includes target market profiles, a marketing plan, and a concrete sales strategy. Computer science students will cooperate with marketing and business.
This module will:
- expose students to the emerging technology of the Metaverse and its potential for business opportunities
- provide students with opportunities to work in international and multidisciplinary teams.
- help students develop a go-to-marketing strategy for a metaverse service.
- promote innovation and entrepreneurship by encouraging students to co-create and develop new and innovative Metaverse-services that can be brought to the market
At the end of the module, students should be able to understand the metaverse and its business opportunities; use a go-to-market framework; co-create with students with different nationalities and disciplinary backgrounds; build up a pitch to convince investors; understand the challenges of introducing new technologies to market.
