Ana Rutar was born in Zagreb. She graduated in 2007 from the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Zagreb as a professor of physics, technology, and computer science. Already during her senior year, she started teaching Office seminars at the Public Open University of Algebra and soon became a mentor for the entire Office education. After graduation, she began teaching at the University College of Algebra as an assistant in the Computer Support for Office Operations course. During her work experience at the College, she worked as the chief editor and coordinator of teaching materials for the College and is a certified expert and trainer for ECDL (ICDL - International Certificate of Digital Literacy). She worked on the development of e-learning content for MS tools and is the author of the professional paper "Organization of e-learning course" and co-author of many printed publications in the field of information technology. Today, she works in one of the leading IT companies in the position of Customer Success Manager.
