Igor Margan graduated in history and Sociology at the University of Zadar. He decided to focus on game development and the application of his official education for the purposes of storytelling and design. He begins his career with education at Machine Game Dev Academy where he acquires additional specific knowledge needed for game development. He has spent most of his career as a freelancer, and for the last four years, he has been collaborating with the University College Algebra as an external associate and assistant in the graduate study of Computer Game Development in Algebra, the first such graduate study in Croatia. The courses he teaches and co-creates are Computer Game Planning, Narrative Design, and Scenario Creation. He also conducts them in English due to a large number of foreign students. In the academic year 2022/2023, Igor is both a mentor and a professor to four student teams in the course "Innovative Project." In addition, for the last two and a half years he has been leading student teams as mentors for design, narrative, and production in the production of games during his studies, one of which won third place in 2019 at Game Jam in Rijeka and 2021 in Creative Cup Croatia, with his game ReMind. Starting from academic year 2023/2024 Algebra University College launches a new Professional Bachelor Study Programme in Game Development, and Igor takes the role of Head of Study programme.
