Mirta Mornar holds a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. During her studies, she was awarded the Rector's Award for student scientific paper, as well as scholarships from the University of Zagreb and the City of Zagreb for excellence. Since 2018, she has been employed at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb where she is currently working as a Senior research assistant within the Centre for Educational Research and Development. She has participated in several research projects, and has actively participated in multiple local and international scientific conferences where she presented her research. Her main research interests include the development of social and emotional competencies within the educational context, the well-being of teachers and students, as well as organizational aspects of well-being. She is a member of the Croatian Psychological Chamber.
