Carl Briggs is a Clinical Professor at Department of Operations & Decision Technologies Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He is also a Fettig/Whirlpool Faculty Fellow and Co-Director of Business Operations Consulting Workshop. He became (2000) Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from Indiana University, with specialty in Sociology, Quantitative Research Methodology, and Mathematics (minor). He has acquired (1989) a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Sociology from Indiana University. Before that, he has (1986) a B.A. in Sociology from Arkansas State University, Jonesboro (AR). In business, Carl is providing consulting and training services for a number of public and private sector firms. Since 2012, Carl is member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), Institute for Supply Management (2010-2015), Product Development and Management Association (2014), Project Management Institute (2005), Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences (2012), Decision Sciences Institute (2010), and Alpha Iota Delta. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications in Supply Chain Management, Systems Analysis and Sociology. He has also many distinguished fellowships, grants and awards nominations.
