Damir Butković is an expert with more than 20 years of experience in the field of project planning, monitoring and control. He is a certified project manager according to the International Project Management Association (IPMA – Laval C) standards. He is currently taking a postgraduate doctoral course titled Management. His field of interest lies in project management. He gathered experience in project management working as an expert on planning, managing and controlling projects and developing and implementing methodologies in the field of project management. During this period he participated in projects both in public and private sector where he worked as manager and consultant in almost all phases of the project cycle, which includes the designing and evaluation of models for project management, the implementation of changes through project organization structure set up, the implementation of IT solutions and integration with other business systems, the education of users, the methodology design and the management of contract documentation and project teams. Also, with the goal of meeting the needs of different types of clients, he participates as a consultant in the making and implementation of models for planning and tracking projects, the education and client support as well as the development and set up of procedures for monitoring and control of projects co-financed by the EU funds. He is the author of a number of scientific and professional papers in the field of project management.
