Feđa Gavrilović was born in Zagreb. Graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Zagreb in 2012. He published several monographs and essayistic books about contemporary art. He is the author of the monography of the sculptor Božica Dea Matasić (2016), photographer Ivan Posavec (2020); the book of essays “Selection” (2018), a book about contemporary Croatian painting “Conquistadors with paintbrush” (2019), forewords of the photo-book by Ivan Posavec “The Horizons” (2017), art book by Stipan Tadić “Motifs from the Surroundings” (2017) and the book “The Other Side” by Josip Vaništa, of which he also was the editor. He published also numerous articles in yearbooks and collaborative books. He regularly organizes exhibitions and publishes newspaper articles, essays, and critiques on the topic of contemporary art and literature. He is the head of the City of Zagreb’s Forum Gallery.
