Silvija holds a degree in Educational Physics and Technology with Informatics from the Department of Physics at the Faculty of Science. Since joining Algebra University College in 2009, she has worked in various positions including Assistant Dean, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Vice Dean for Quality and Development, and Lecturer. Currently, she is the Head of Professional Services. Silvija is a certified expert for the external periodic review of quality assurance systems in Croatia and Slovenia and an expert in the external evaluation of adult education institutions. She is also a Certified ECDL Trainer. In addition to her roles in education administration, Silvija has contributed to the field as an editor of more than ten computing manuals and as a co-author of books on information technology. She has authored and co-authored some professional and scientific papers in information sciences. Her expertise extends to speaking engagements at many national and international professional conferences, leading workshops on quality assurance, methodological and didactic training, and the development of occupational standards. Silvija is actively involved in projects related to quality assurance and the implementation of the Croatian Qualifications Framework, either as a project team member or as an expert on learning outcomes. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Information and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Zagreb.
