Damir Jugo is the President of the Board of Governors at Algebra Bernays University. He is an Associate Professor of Communication Science and one of Croatia?s leading experts in public relations, strategic communication, and crisis communication. He is a co-founder and long-time dean of Edward Bernays University of Applied Sciences, which he developed into one of Croatia?s most recognized higher education institutions before its merger into Algebra Bernays University. He has authored three textbooks and numerous scientific articles in public relations and communication management published nationally and internationally. As a visiting and invited lecturer, he teaches at universities in Croatia and abroad and regularly appears at professional and academic conferences. He actively contributes to the development of Croatia?s science and higher education system through leadership and participation in key national bodies such as the Council of Polytechnics and Colleges, Rectors' Conference, and the Agency for Science and Higher Education. His accolades include the Grand PRix from the Croatian Public Relations Association for contributions to the profession and the Golden Plaque from the Council of Polytechnics for lasting contributions to professional study programmes in Croatia.
