The new campus also features excellent internet connectivity, ensuring a stable connection even with 1,200 connected devices simultaneously, and the new network equipment will provide lightning-fast speeds of 10Gbps. One of the highlights is definitely our own data center named ‘Nimbus,’ which allows for the operation of 4,000 virtual machines for students and course participants, with Zoran Vakula as its ‘godfather’.

Algebra’s data center boasts 1.62 THz of CPU power, 5TB of memory, and around 40TB of disk space, consisting of 80 physical servers. As part of the server infrastructure, the Boston Super Server SMC 1029GQ-TRT supercomputer is installed, primarily used in data science studies. The server room is equipped with a 60 kVA UPS and a separate NOVEC fire suppression system.

The building is equipped with a generator that activates in the event of a power outage, ensuring uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure, business and student information systems, as well as teaching and data storage. Algebra’s campus is built to A+ energy efficiency standards, and air recuperation systems have been installed in all classrooms to improve teaching quality and achieve green energy savings. The office floors are made from recycled materials, and to further promote a ‘green approach,’ employees are encouraged to commute to work by bicycle or scooter.
