Hackers are continuously coming up with novel and inventive ways to access data. Cyber security experts have the responsibility of spotting dangers before hackers do, act before them and think like them.
One of the ways how to check their knowledge and develop new skills is to attend CTF competitions. Capture the Flag (CTF) in computer security is an exercise in which “flags” are secretly hidden in vulnerable systems.
Apply to be selected as one of 40 competitors in one of three categories for the Algebra CFT competition, sponsored by NATO and powered by EC-Council, and earn a valuable prize!

What is the prize?
Depending on the category you will compete – you can win:
- a free tuition for the first year of Bachelor study programme in Applied Computer Engineering (Software or System Engineering) at the Algebra University (Value of the tuition fee is HRK 36,960.00 / EUR 4,908.37).
- a free tuitionfor the first year of Master study programme in Applied Computing Engineering (Software or System Engineering) at the Algebra University (Value of the tuition fee is HRK 42,840.00 / EUR 5,689.24) or
- EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) educational voucher for training and certification exam (Value of the voucher is HRK 21,237.50 / EUR 2.818,70).

When and where will the competition take place?
Competition will take place in Zagreb, on Saturday 26th November 2022 at Algebra’s new Campus. (Gradišćanska 24).
How do I get into the competition?
Simply fill in the form. Due to the limited number of competitors (40 per category), candidates will be selected based on the terms of the competition and motivation letter. We will let you know until November, 22th on your e-mail if you have entered the competition!
