Module overview:
The aim of this module is to enable students to learn to use and adapt software for working with electronic mail and videoconferencing systems for the purpose of communication, planning and organization, create presentations in accordance with good practice guidelines, create and manage documents using word processing programs and use tools, functions and formulas of programs for working with spreadsheets for the purpose of creating tables and calculating data.
This module builds on previous experiences and knowledge (e.g. knowledge acquired as part of high school education) for the purpose of training students to use software tools independently.
It is important for students to attend this module since the active use of technology systematically permeates an increasing number of daily activities. The digital literacy that students acquire by attending this module is not only a key competence in modern society, but also enables the development of other abilities that are not related to information and communication technologies, for example; analytical/problem-solving ability, creativity, communication, and presentation skills. • how to use presentation software to create and edit presentations for the target audience, venue and purpose.

• the advanced knowledge and skills to edit and present data in graphs,
