Module title:
Advanced standards in internet technology application
Module overview:
This module introduces students to advanced application of standards within web technology and open-source frameworks, as well as advanced application and application of CSS within web pages and frameworks.
The module is taught through the integration of theory, knowledge and experience as well as individual practical learning and problem solving. The module check is based on individual student projects and homework with an individual approach. An individual student project is based on an individual hands-on approach to creating web pages using open-source frameworks and using advanced web design techniques with at least six web pages applying the techniques learned.
This module is part of a group of front-end study modules, actively guiding students through the development of multimedia solutions, focusing on the advanced use of web technology, frameworks, and CSS.
Students will learn about:
• advanced knowledge of standards used in the application of the Internet and Web technology and open source frameworks
• custom CSS properties, rendering and previewing of CSS in a web browser
• understanding the paradigm patterns and logical functioning of CSS
• editing and positioning HTML elements using CSS rules
• using CSS to create responsive web pages
• creating rich HTML pages using CSS animations, transitions and multimedia.
