Career - Studying
Module overview:
This course is the first career-oriented course and is crucial for providing support to students in their learning. The objectives of the module are to enable students to:
understand the demands of studying and the role of students in society,
explore and master learning methods and time management techniques,
reduce stress by demystifying uncertainties they might face and be motivated for effective learning,
in combination with other vertical career-oriented modules, prepare them for a career and life after graduation and enable them to acquire skills and knowledge (soft skills) necessary for their success as team members and in the community.
This course prepares students for university studies in the context of understanding specific rules, teacher expectations, various module obligations, the development of interpersonal relationships, as well as duties and benefits belonging to the academic community and university. Additionally, this module seeks to revive interest in independent research and inquiries. This course helps students to be successful in their student roles, to find the optimal way of learning and time management. The course will expose students to various techniques for stress reduction and cultivating good habits through practical assignments and projects. This course will lay the groundwork for later professional career and personal aspects of life.
In this module students will learn to:
