Mathematics


Module overview:


The aim of this course is to enable students to:
• Acquire basic mathematical skills specific to the field of business economics
• implement mathematical models in economics
• make independent financial decisions, including the choice of the optimal savings or lending model.

This course teaches students theoretical and practical basics related to quantitative methods that are key in economic modeling, and solving mathematical problems in a practical way. The course trains students in the use of mathematical tools that will be used in other courses of this study program.

It is important that students take this course in order to develop their logical and mathematical skills needed for other courses in this degree program. The knowledge that students acquire in this course will contribute to the overall skill set for their future employment.
