Module overview:


The goals of this course are to enable students to acquire:
• broad insight into management theories and practices
• knowledge of the key concepts and functions of management, including planning, organizing, leading and controlling
• insight into the dynamics and challenges of leading organizations in the context of the digital economy and global environment
The Basics of Management course offers students an insight into the basic concepts of management and is the basic course on which all subsequent courses in the field of management are built. In addition to classic management topics, the course also deals with the impact of digital transformation on business strategy and the importance of ethics in business decision-making.
Attending the Fundamentals of Management course is important for students to develop the management and leadership skills needed in the modern business world. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students will learn through case studies and practical examples how management theories are applied in real business situations, thus preparing them for future managerial roles. The purpose of this course is for students not only to understand the theoretical aspects of management, but also to develop practical skills and the ability to think critically necessary to solve complex business challenges while respecting ethical standards.
