Module overview:


The aim of this course is to train students to analyse and understand different concepts and standards of information systems management. The concept of information system service management will be explained in detail. Through practical work, students will apply the acquired knowledge and demonstrate the application of standards in the management of information systems.
It is important for students to take this course to understand the value of good information systems management as it can help create added value in their business and help them control internal and external processes. The knowledge students acquire in this module will contribute to the overall set of skills important in their future workplace.
In this module students will learn:
the terms, concepts and standards used in information management systems.
the purpose and application of information systems management with emphasis on principles of a good practices
the application of standards in information systems management.
how to explores problems and approaches in information systems management in organizations.
how information systems can support, enable, or integrate into different types of organizational services.
