Module overview:
The aim of this course is to enable students to gain a deep understanding of contemporary security challenges and the increasing frequency of attacks on information systems. Through ethical hacking and countermeasures, the course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to support organizations in implementing preventive measures against malicious attacks. Students will be introduced to the phases of ethical hacking, various attack vectors, and methods for their prevention.
This course includes practical exercises that cover all domains of ethical hacking methodologies, offering students the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to perform the role of an ethical hacker. Through practical exercises, students gain experience in using tools and techniques employed by hackers, thereby developing into cybersecurity experts, such as penetration testing specialists and digital forensic experts.
In this module students will learn:
methods and techniques used in ethical hacking for identifying and correcting vulnerabilities.
various attack vectors and how they can be prevented.
how to conduct attacks on information systems within legal frameworks.
in-depth understanding of the phases of ethical hacking.
