Standards in internet technology application

Module overview:
This course introduces students to fundamental standards in the application of internet technology using HTML and CSS, with an emphasis on basics supporting rich HTML pages with CSS interactions and multimedia support.
The course is taught through the integration of theory, knowledge, and experience, as well as individual practical learning and problem-solving. Course assessment is based on individual student projects and homework assignments with an individual approach. The individual student project involves an individual practical approach to creating a website with at least six web subpages using the learned techniques and methods.
This course is part of the front-end courses in the study program, actively guiding students through the development of multimedia solutions, with a specific focus on web technologies.
In this course students will learn:
about standards used in the application of the internet and web technology
about the HTML language, its basic elements, standards for writing tags, and attributes
creating forms and implementing new uses of forms with elements defined in the HTML5 specification
editing and positioning HTML elements using CSS rules
using CSS to create responsive web pages
creating rich HTML pages with CSS animations, transitions, and multimedia.
