The goals of this course are to enable students to:
understanding the origins and consequences of technological transformation on the private and business spheres
development of key competencies for personal and professional development in the field of digital technologies
acquiring knowledge about the impact of technology on business models, and markets and main stakeholders
acquisition of competences in the domain of socially responsible application of digital technologies in business
The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the characteristics, drivers and concept of digital transformation, help them understand trends and teach them to recognize opportunities and adopt the processes of digital business transformation necessary for operation and development in today´s market. The digital revolution has affected all aspects of society, both individuals and companies, as well as the state. The networking of people (social networks) and things (Internet of Things) drives governments, business and civil societies, as well as friends and families. Many organizations are undergoing their own digital transformation in different ways, driven by a new, digital customer experience. This course studies both external and internal factors of digital transformation and continuous improvement of business models with the aim of building new digital business and market opportunities.
Students should attend this course to further develop their understanding of the impact of technology on business and society as a whole. Through the course, students will learn the value of applying digital technologies to improve business and business models and improve their own digital literacy.
