Photography 1
Module overview:
The objectives of this module are to enable students to:
• differentiate between camera sensor types, formats, and lenses
• choose the elements of exposition.
• control the depth of field.
• design, shoot and process a collection of photographs.
This module teaches students to manage modern devices and processes in digital photography; develops their skills and independence in the application of technical aids; contributes to the development of creative abilities and artistic creation. This module is theory-based where students need to acknowledge the fundamental principles in Photography. The module forms the vital core of the program meas it combines basic rules of digital photography, form, frame, light and proportion.
It is important for students to take this module in order to gain confidence in technical part of photographic creation, so the contents are more related to photo equipment and accessories. In this part, they will also learn and work with a digital camera, and teaching grows into a photo workshop in which students solve photographic tasks.
