Module overview:
The goals of this course are to enable students to:
• deepening knowledge about FinTech ecosystems and business models
• acquiring knowledge about blockchain technology and its applications
• deepening knowledge about cryptocurrencies and in general about different forms of crypto assets
The course FinTech 2: Blockchain and crypto-assets provides students with a deeper insight into blockchain technologies and crypto-assets, including cryptocurrencies and various forms of digital assets. Focusing on the latest developments and applications in this fast-growing field, the course explores how these innovations affect traditional financial services and what their implications are for the global financial market. The goals of the course include understanding the basics of blockchain , its impact on the development of cryptocurrencies , and the various business models that have emerged from this technology. Students will also learn about the legal and regulatory aspects surrounding crypto-assets, and how to navigate the challenges and opportunities that digital finance brings.
Students should attend this course in order to acquire additional knowledge and skills necessary for a career in the FinTech sector . The course provides not only a theoretical background but also practical insights into the use of blockchain and crypto assets, preparing students to work in a dynamic and innovative environment.
