Lecturers and associates:
Module overview:
This module introduces students to the designing the user interface of software products. It is focused to improving the user experience with analysis of decomposition of user requirements by using research methodologies, scenarios, personas, and creating wireframes and prototypes.
The skills acquired by this module will contribute to students’ development and professionals in the respective fields related to software modelling and engineering.
The module assessment is based on solving a series of smaller practical tasks and designing a user interface of a software product in a team environment.
Students will learn:
About requirement analysis and research methodologies that are used in designing the user experience of a software product.
About creating wireframes and prototypes of a software product.
About defining usability goals and personas that represent a typical user for the designed software
product.
About performing the usability testing and heuristic evaluation.
