synthesize research and define key challenges and issues
create a design based on data obtained from research
develop a functional product prototype and create a user testing plan
prioritize obtained results to make design changes
The course is taught through the integration of theory and individual practical learning and problem-solving. Assessment is based on an individual comprehensive project resulting in a functional project with detailed documentation related to research and rationale (case study approach).
This course is part of a group of media-related courses within the study program, focused on theory-based learning and completion with practical work and solutions. Skills learned in this course will significantly contribute to other future courses related to multimedia.
In this course students will learn:
web design and user experience, functionality, interaction, and reactivity
conducting and synthesizing research
information architecture and user interactions
frameworks and main elements and components of user experience
design systems
