Advanced standards in internet technology application

Module overview:


This course introduces students to the advanced application of standards within web technologies and open-source frameworks, as well as the advanced use and application of CSS within web pages and frameworks. The course is taught through the integration of theory, knowledge, and experience, along with individual practical learning and problem-solving.

Course assessment is based on individual student projects and homework assignments with an individual approach. The individual student project involves a practical approach to creating a website using open-source frameworks and applying advanced web design techniques to develop at least six web pages using the learned techniques.

This course is part of the group of front-end courses in the study, actively guiding students through the development of multimedia solutions, with a particular focus on the advanced use of web technologies, frameworks, and CSS.
In this course students will learn:
advanced knowledge of standards used in Internet and Web technology and open-source frameworks
custom properties of CSS, rendering, and previewing CSS in a web browser
understanding patterns of the paradigm and logical functioning of CSS
styling and positioning HTML elements using CSS rules
using CSS to create responsive web pages
creating rich HTML pages using CSS animations, transitions, and multimedia.
