Module overview:


The aim of this course is to acquaint students with:
Fundamentals of digital product design and user experience
Teach them to choose appropriate tools when approaching research
Synthesize research and define key challenges and problems
Create a design based on data obtained from research
Develop a functional product prototype and create a user testing plan
Prioritize obtained results to make design modifications

The course is taught through the integration of theory and individual practical learning and problem-solving. Assessment is based on an individual comprehensive project that results in a functional project with detailed documentation related to research and rationale (case study approach).
In this course students will learn:
fundamentals of digital product design and user experience
how to select appropriate tools when approaching research
synthesizing research and defining key challenges and issues
creating a design based on data obtained from research
developing a functional product prototype and creating a user testing plan
prioritizing obtained results to make design changes
