Video post-production and visual effects

Students will learn about:
concepts, methods, and best practical solutions through which they will explore visual effects in video production.
tools such as image compositing, layering, content integration and blending, rotoscoping, camera tracking.
tools like character animation, green screen, particles, simulations, graphic implementation, and much more.
tools for generating ideas, shooting, editing, and applying image processing, as well as visual effects.
creating versatile animation, effects, and clear communication.
applying stylistic and film grammar while maintaining the expected genre and set goals.
This course acquaints students with video effects and motion graphics, merging new knowledge with existing video footage and utilizing the visual effects workspace for creating future video projects.
The course is taught through the integration of theory, knowledge, and individual practical learning and problem-solving. The course assessment is based on individual student projects and homework assignments with an individual approach. The individual student project is based on an individual practical approach to animation and the application of visual effects and motion graphics.
This course is part of the media core of the study, actively guiding students through visual effects and motion graphics. The skills acquired in this course will significantly contribute to other core media courses that follow.
In this course students will learn:
organize the basic project settings when creating audio-video content
use tools for image processing in the post-production phase
use a program for creating integrated visual effects and video
use a program for creating standalone visual effects
