Lecturers and associates:
Module overview:
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn:
get acquainted with the principles of visual language for research, development and creation of various multimedia projects for personal portfolios
explore the stages of access in personal branding, their own visual identity and technical standards specific to multimedia production
creating the entire visual identity of the portfolio with multimedia elements and solutions
This course teaches students creative ideas and principles of creating, processing and preparing individual multimedia projects for the portfolio, choosing the correct technical standards, in the context of the relationship between project, technical and visual presentation. The course is a key part of the program because it integrates previous courses in the field of visual communication, UX/UI design, audio-video production and web design and interactive solutions, enabling students to master the aesthetic and functional aspects of visual communication. This project-based course provides students with an insight into how to create, process, and prepare various multimedia projects with implementation in a personal portfolio.
Students take this course in order to gain confidence in the creative processes of multimedia presentation and portfolio creation, and the ability to present and defend their ideas on the market or towards the client. Students will analytically review selected projects and presentation methods using prototypes, UX/UI elements, audio-video materials and other multimedia components, improve production skills and create an analytical review of the final presentation.
This course is part of a group of media-related courses within the study, which actively guides students through the creation of a video game at a conceptual level with an in-depth focus and attention to detail. The skills learned in this course will significantly contribute to other courses related to the content of media in the semester, but they also represent a key final stage of presenting the competences of the study.
In this course students will learn:
analyse and critically evaluate personal projects
develop a strategy for developing, presenting and presenting personal projects in the portfolio
apply a personal research structure in your own portfolio
evaluate the structure of research in your own portfolio and compare with existing professional portfolios
create authentic visual elements in your personal portfolio by following your own visual style
finalize your own portfolio and presentation and argue the process of creating your own portfolio.
