Advanced financial analysis

Module overview:

The goals of the Advanced Financial Analysis course are to enable students to acquire knowledge about:
advanced financial analysis techniques for evaluating the financial stability of companies through their financial statements, including methods for strategic planning and decision-making,
in-depth analysis of financial statements with the use of adequate tools,
application of financial analysis in making investment decisions,
financial forecasting,
the impact of corporate taxes on the business result and the system of tax benefits,
principles of controlling and measurement and control of business success through a system of indicators,
principles of personal finance and the role of analysis.
The course focuses on developing both the technical and strategic skills needed to succeed in the rapidly changing financial sector, preparing students for careers in investment banking, asset management, and financial consulting.
Students will learn about:
advanced financial analysis techniques for evaluating the financial stability of companies,
application of financial analysis in making investment decisions,
methods and techniques for creating financial forecasts,
the impact of corporate taxes on the business result,
the system of tax credits and their use,
principles of controlling and measuring and controlling business success through a system of indicators,
applying the principles of financial analysis to the management of personal finances.
