Introduction to research and academic writing
Module overview:
The aims of the module is to introduce students to the process, conventions and style of writing academic texts and to enable them to critically present and reference professional and scientific literature and choose appropriate research methods.
The objective of this module is to enable students to:
• Think scientifically
• Choose and apply optimal research methodology for given problem
• Conduct research, analyse and report on data
• Write an professional article
This module contributes to the overall students academic development and will prepare them for scientific and professional work for the thesis.
