Caring for mental health is one of the most important responsibilities of academic institutions today, as it contributes to the success, well-being and personal development of students.
Times are becoming increasingly challenging, temptations are greater, and the pressures students face can negatively impact their emotional state, academic success and quality of life.
Within the Student Support Centre, the Student Counseling Service has been established, and it has a dual role: strengthening and supporting students’ mental health, as well as helping them cope with life’s challenges. This is done under the supervision and guidance of Advisory Therapists in training, ensuring that students receive effective and professional support. The Student Counseling Service primarily focuses on identifying, analysing, and providing expert guidance for overcoming issues such as concentration difficulties, anxiety, depression and similar challenges among students.
The role of the Student Counseling Service is to provide a safe environment where students can express their concerns, find solutions to challenges and develop strategies for coping more successfully with life’s difficulties.
The goal of the Student Counseling Service is to enhance students’ well-being, increase their resilience and help them realise their personal potential.
The Student Counseling Service is available to all students, both Croatian and international.
If you feel that you cannot overcome the difficulties you are facing on your own, feel free to reach out to our experts at the Student Counseling Service.
