Module title:
ICT tools in project management
Module overview:
The objectives of this module is to enable students to learnto :
• plan and manage IT projects, programmes and portfolios via probability techniques and project risk management
• prepare for the Project Management certifications
in this optional module students learn: how to apply ICT tools for planning, tracking and controlling of projects, programs and portfolios in the chaotic business environment.
Students also learn: project risk identification and assessment, determining financial project reserves of the project budget, and the link between uncertainty and risk management with company strategy.
The module is taught in the final semester of these study programmes.
Students who choose this module will broaden their knowledge of project management acquired in the fourth semester. They will develop competencies to prepare for industry standard certifications such as IPMA, PMI and PM2. Project based teamwork gives students the possibility to practice real work situations and use knowledge from other modules to challenge other teams.
