Module overview:


The objective of the course is to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary for protecting, detecting, and responding to security threats within network systems. The course will cover a broad range of topics in network security, from the basics of network infrastructure to advanced defense techniques. Students will become familiar with best practices, tools, and methods needed for effectively managing network security in various organizational environments.
In this module students will learn:
the basics of network security and infrastructure.
policies and procedures of network security.
implementation and management of security devices.
analysis of security incidents and response to them.
security of wireless networks and threat management.
practical skills needed for the protection and defense of network systems.
