Module overview:
The objective of this module is to enable students to argue the purpose of a business plan and its main elements from the perspectives of an entrepreneurial venture, assess different legal forms suitable for a venture and efficient financing models, assess relevant macro and micro-factors relevant for the success of a venture. This module provides students with an insight into the world of entrepreneurship from the SME perspectives, complementing other study programmes.

It seeks to empower students by providing the knowledge, skills and attitudes to achieve entrepreneurial success in the context of creative industries. The module focuses on both the theoretical framework and practical applications of individual creativity and innovation needed to transform ideas into ventures that support the creation of value.
The module also provides students with essential skills and techniques needed for the development of a business plan, such as innovation management and thorough analysis of the micro and macro environment. Through a series of lectures and tutorials, students will develop a sense of the relevance of various internal and external factors for the success of a new venture. Therefore, students will develop the basic skills needed for conducting their own business ventures.
