The right to enrol have:
- Applicants who have completed a four-year secondary education in Croatia and passed the State Matura exams,
- Applicants who have completed a four-year secondary education in Croatia prior to 2010 and did not take the State Matura exams,
- Applicants who have completed secondary education outside Croatia,
- Applicants who have completed professional short cycle study programme in Croatia or outside Croatia,
- Applicants transferring from other universities.
Enrolment procedure
There are several entry routes for programme:
A) Admission by passing the State Matura exams
This pathway is suitable for applicants who have:
- completed a four-year secondary education and passed the State Matura exams.
B) Admission by enrolment based on completed appropriate prior education, without completion of the State Matura exams
This pathway is suitable for applicants who have:
- completed a four-year secondary education in Croatia prior to 2010,
- completed secondary education outside Croatia and obtain a document on the recognition of a foreign qualification,
- completed a professional short cycle study programme in Croatia,
- completed professional short cycle study programme outside Croatia and obtain a document on the recognition of a foreign qualification,
C) Admission by transfer from other studies
This pathway is suitable for applicants who have:
- completed their studies at another higher education institution,
- studied at another higher education institution.
Each of the mentioned entry routes includes an interview with the applicant, during which an assessment of information and motivation for studies and special achievements (competitions, projects, etc.) is carried out. In addition, with applicants who have not passed the exam in the language in which the study programme is conducted, and who want to enrol in a study programme after which only a diploma from Algebra University is obtained, language proficiency is assessed and confirmed during an interview.
