What you will learn in the game development study

Curriculum Structure

You will gain knowledge in creating and designing engaging game worlds, characters, stories, and gameplay experiences, as well as implementing them in actual games.
You will learn the basics of roles, usage, and creation of audio and visual art in video games. This includes 3D modeling, 2D concept creation, animation, visual effects, and audio production.
You will master the skills of managing game development projects from start to finish, including planning, task allocation, and team management.
You will acquire insights into marketing activities specific to video games and the fundamentals of running a business to be able to start your own team.
You will learn to create comprehensive project documentation and give shape to creative ideas that can be transformed into concrete projects through documentation.
You will develop skills to translate abstract and creative ideas into a tangible form that enables project execution.

Game Programmer

Your role as a game developer will involve a wide range of programming and technological activities in the creation of video games.

Game Designer

As a game designer, you will be responsible for creating and conceptualizing the game’s concept, implementing it through gameplay mechanics, and storytelling. Additionally, the game designer is the main and responsible factor in creating documentation for video games.

Game Producer

Your role will involve organizing and efficiently managing the project and team members, as well as coordinating with external factors such as company owners or publishers. Required knowledge includes familiarity with various technologies, workflow processes, and budgeting.

Game Tester (Quality Assurance)

As a game tester, you will test all aspects of the created video game and identify unforeseen problems or errors that occurred during the production phase. The final result being correct and enjoyable to play depends on you.

Game Writer

With knowledge of all aspects of game creation, the role of a game writer is to be innovative in creating engaging stories and characters that will enrich the game or facilitate the rest of the team’s creation process with ideas.

Level Designer

As a level designer, you will construct the game world and its challenges, playing a crucial role in creating a quality and enjoyable gameplay experience!

Module Example

Mathematical foundations of game development

This course will teach you to map the faces of your virtual characters in order to give them emotion. You will learn the basics of acting and carefully timed and planned gestures to achieve a higher professional level of animation and make the animated characters more understandable. You will learn about the professional standard methodology currently in use and the principles of creating animations of character movement, body language and acting using your own characters.
