Cognitive Modelling and Simulation
In this module, students gain foundational knowledge in cognitive modelling and simulation within computer systems. The module explores key principles of cognitive modelling and equips students with the skills to design, construct, and evaluate computer models that replicate cognitive processes.
Course Objectives:
- Understand information-processing mechanisms in the human brain
- Analyse behavioural, neuropsychological and neuroscientific data
- Apply techniques to enhance learning in normal cognition
- Build computer models simulating various cognitive processes.
