Zdravko Kunić, Senior Lecturer

Zdravko Kunić, Ph.D. is a technology specialist, entrepreneur, data scientist, and lecturer. He is an expert in databases, decision support systems, computer modeling, information visualization, and professional microelectronics. He has designed specialized information systems and databases in the fields of insurance, telecommunications, public administration, meteorology, culture, and traffic management, leading numerous development projects in the areas of information technology and industrial electronics. As a senior data scientist, he is actively involved in development projects at the AlgebraLAB, his parent research institution. In his role as a senior lecturer, he leads several courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels at the Algebra university within the Department of information systems and business analytics. He also collaborates in teaching activities for the master's program in Digital communication within the Department of tourism and communication sciences at the University of Zadar. Beyond academia, he plays an active role as a professional educator specializing in advanced analytics for businesses. Internationally, he continuously improves his skills by participating in international conferences and taking part in the Erasmus+ program at universities abroad. In addition to research work at AlgebraLAB and projects related to Pan-European network of Digital Innovation Hubs, he also collaborated with scientists from the Jožef Stefan Institute, a leading Slovenian research institution. The dominant areas of interest include visual business analytics and the application of data science, artificial intelligence, and decision support systems in the service of economic, scientific, and educational progress.
